Seminar with Sensei Hiroshi Ken Hassell
Kerry shotokan is organising a Seminar with Sensei Hiroshi Ken Hassell on 28th April 2012 at Killorglin Sports Centre, Langford Street, Killorglin, Co. Kerry. This is an open event so everyone is welcome to join regardless of affiliation or style.
Sensei Hassell is a world class instructor, he has been involved in Traditional Shotokan Karate for over 40 years.
Sensei Hassell’s Japanese ethnicity, heritage and being able to speak the Japanese language fluently, placed him in a unique position to be able to receive direct personal tuition from top Japanese Masters such as Kawazoe Sensei and Enoeda Sensei in aspects of Kata and Bunkai, on a level that a lot of British instructors haven’t been able to.
Sensei Hassell still travels to Italy regularly to receive tuition from Shirai Sensei, who is a Japanese Master. His technical knowledge and ability in Kata and Bunkai is second to none, and he is considered to be one of the best technicians in the world today.
