Competition – Ardee 2010
A large group from Kerry Shotokan travelled to Ardee for their International Karate Competition on Saturday. The competition was organised by Ireland Wadokai Karate-Do Renmei who kindly invited us to take part. The standard of Karate was very high with teams competitors from Ireland, England, Scotland and other countries and that included both Wado-ryu and Shotokan clubs. We wish to thank the organisers for a great event.
The club were well represented at the competition with 20 people from the club competing in the Kata category and 14 competed in Kumite and the club did very well overall.
