2011 Open Tournament

Kerry Shotokan Karate School will organise its 1st Open Karate Championships on 10th of September 2011 at the Killorglin Sport’s Complex, Killorglin, Co, Kerry, Ireland.

Each club entering the competiton should provide at least one referee. All participants are required to have their own insurance for the tournament.

The tournament will be held under the FSKA rules.
Kata: Tokui
Kumite: Shobu Ippon

Competitors must fill out the entry form.
Closing date for entries is Monday 29th August 2011.

Entry fees:
Individual kata and kumite €30
Team event €20
Special division €20

Mouth guards are compulsory. Red/white pads/belts are preferred but not compulsory. Chest protector is optional.
Competitors under the age of 10 must have their own head gear(any colour).

Registration is between 8-9am.
Referees meeting at 9-9:30am
Tournament proper starts at 10am sharp.
